Most insulated water bottles are too wide for a standard car cup holder — including some of the most popular ones on the market. Cupwell is different: a leak-proof, double-wall insulated bottle engineered specifically to fit a standard 7 cm (2.75 in) automotive cup holder, without giving up capacity or insulation.
The Cup Holder Problem
Large-capacity insulated bottles have gotten wider over the past few years to fit more liquid and more ice. That's great for capacity, but it means many of them no longer fit in a standard car cup holder — you end up holding it in the passenger seat, or leaving it in a bag, instead of having it within reach while driving. Cupwell was designed around the cup holder first, capacity second.
